With the high-quality Swiss Haelok compression fittings, connections can be made in both industrial and district heating applications – quickly, securely and without hotwork. Haelok-fittings have been developed to withstand very high pressures and temperatures. It is a functional and safe, a mechanical alternative to welding. With Haelok compression fittings, installation is possible even in tight spaces.
The Swiss Haelok system simplifies the pipeline work steps and makes repair work easier and faster. Instead of a heavily loaded van, you come to the job site with a Haelok toolbox. In principle, anyone can learn how to install a Haelok compression fitting. When you measure the cut-outs correctly, everything clicks into place at once with the push of a button. To make a Haelok joint, you do not need personnel requiring special professional skills, such as a welder, but all installers are able to make even more demanding joints.

You don’t have to wait for the pipeline to empty, which sometimes takes hours, because Haelok can be installed even under water. The paint must be removed from the pipe before pressing the Haelok joint.
The fitting cannot be undone. Haelok is a permanent fitting and therefore corresponds to a welding joint

The end of the galvanised pipe must be carefully sanded with sandpaper. The recommended maximum thickness of the galvanized layer when using Haelok fittings is 20 microns.
