HKS is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of expansion joints and hoses – with more than 40 years of experience. More ¼than 5,000 customers in over a hundred countries around the world trust HKS products.
HKS is especially known for its expansion joints made of different metal and rubber qualities. Expansion joints are used in a variety of ways, for example in machine and plant design and in the equipment and shipbuilding industries. HKS’s strengths are its wide range of expansion joints and continuous product development.
Expansion joints are single or multilayer layered joints made of different metals with high expansion absorption and low spring constants. Expansion joints are used for example in exhaust gas, district heating and blast furnace pipelines, mechanical engineering, construction of accessories and equipment, and sprinklers.
Expansion joints can accommodate axial and lateral movements. Shapes can be round or in a parallelogram and everything in between. Stainless steel expansion joints are used in various pipelines, energy and offshore technology, as well as in the food, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries.
