The Italian Raccorderie Metalliche (RM), which has been in the field for over 50 years, is the world’s leading manufacturer of compression fittings. Especially known for its reliability, RM swears by continuous product development.
RM inoxPRES is a press fitting system made of stainless steel that combines high-quality materials and the advantages of press fittings at a competitive price.
The fittings system has a wide range of applications: for example, drinking water pipelines, industrial process pipelines, sprinkler pipelines, fire extinguishing pipelines on ships and other objects that require corrosion resistance can be successfully used with inoxPRES.
Wide applicability, more than 30 different approvals for liquids and gases
Materials 316L, 304 and 444
Sizes 15–168 mm
Operating pressure PN 16 bar
Seal temperature resistance +120…+220 °C
RM marinePRES offers maximum corrosion resistance in demanding seawater conditions and also in sites with high hydrocarbon concentrations. In addition, due to its toughness, the marinePRES material is suitable for applications where high impact resistance is required from the pipeline. MarinePRES products have wide range of approvals, e.g., for ship use.
Suitable for seawater conditions, e.g., seawater cooling pipelines
Material CuNi10Fe1.6Mn
Seal temperature resistance +220 °C
Sizes 15–108 mm
Operating pressure PN 16 bar
RM Drain is a drainage system made of stainless steel, which is suitable both as a drainage system for constructing buildings and as a vacuum drainage system for ships. Installation of RM Drain fittings requires no tools: The ends of the pipe are pushed into each other and the rubber seal at the joint takes care of the sealing. The installation is therefore quick and safe.
Suitable for demanding drainage systems
Sizes DN40–DN150
The material is stainless steel (316L)
Classification approvals for the shipping industry
The paint must be removed from the pipe before pressing the connector.
Yes, you can. The fittings have approvals from classification societies.
Yes. You can use compression tools from all manufacturers if they are intended for the “M” profile and are on RM’s list of approved tools. See the list of pdf files that can be downloaded from approved tools. If it is a PN 16 pipeline, be especially careful that the tool in question is really intended for a PN 16 pipeline. If you are unsure, ask us.
Please also make sure that the crimping force of your tool is correct for the pipe size:
32 KN – up to ø 54 mm. (PN 16)
120 KN up to 76-108 mm. (PN 16)
(Also check the downloadable pdf files for tool suitability)
16 bar.
You must use a crimping machine with a power of:
32 KN – up to ø 54 mm.
120 KN up to 76-108 mm.
For example:
ACO 203BT -> for 15-54 mm press … with this machine you can guarantee PN 16 (safety factor 4 = 64 Bar)
For PN 16 piping 76.1-108 mm, only the following tools can be used.
Novopress ACO403 (old model 401) cod. 196000023 and Klauke UAP100L cod. 196001009
(Also check the downloadable pdf files for tool suitability)
The crimping machine, jaws and chains must be calibrated by an authorized service shop once a year. This way you can make sure that the machine works as desired.
Yes, suitable. The Drain system also has approvals from classification societies for ship use .
